The Maasai Mara game reserve has been voted as Africa’s leading park at the World Travel awards held on Tuesday in Rwanda Kigali.
It beat stiff competitions from South Africa’s Kruger National Park, Tanzania’s Serengeti, Botswana’s Central Kalahari, Uganda’s Kidepo Valley National Park, Namibia’s Etosha National Park.
The Kenya Airways was another top earner, emerging best in the continent as Africa’s Leading Airline.
Moreover, it was voted as the Africa’s Leading Airline-Economy class, beating the Ethiopian Airlines’.
Diani Beach in Kwale was also voted the best beach destination in Africa for a fourth year in a row beating competitors from South Africa, Mozambique, Zanzibar and Egypt.
