A four storey building Saturday morning collapsed in Kariobangi South, Nairobi.
No casualties were reported as the residents had evacuated the premises on Friday evening on realization that cracks emerged from it, but property and belongings were destroyed.
“No casualties, but property got destroyed,” said one of the Kenya Red Cross officers present at the scene.
Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko visited the area early in the morning and affirmed that all the residents were rescued.
“No casualties, thanks to Almighty God. We managed to rescue all the tenants,” he said.
